A fascinating display of IBM’s hardware and software heritage over more than a century
Hursley Park has been at the forefront of engineering and design for more than 75 years, even before IBM came on site in 1958.
IBM’s own history goes back more than century. Innovation and transformation have always been part of our company, as the many fascinating historical artefacts in our museum reveal.
Our museum contains examples from over a hundred years of IBM technology - right back to master clocks, scales, punch cards, hard drives, and original designs of monitors, desktops, laptops, and PDAs.
It includes innovations developed at Hursley, and explains the role they have played in shaping the modern world. The guided tour reveals what that says about IBM inventiveness then, now, and in the future.
Access to the basement is via stairs. Please advise us when you book for the tour on the day if you require assistance or wheelchair access.
