Preparing, responding, and recovering when the worst happens around the globe
Call for Code is a global challenge in collaboration with the United Nations Human Rights Office and the American Red Cross. It inspires software developers to use their powers for good.
IBM developers have responded with creative hackathons to devise new solutions to help prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural disasters that happen around the globe. Eleven worldwide IBM labs took part last month.
One of the biggest events was when over 100 designers and developers gathered in IBM Hursley and came up with more than 20 proposals. The top-rated teams will be sharing their ideas at the Festival.
In addition, our developer ecosystems team will describe IBM's contributions to the developer economy. Developers can now drive businesses like never before. Come and hear how IBM is empowering developers to solve the world’s problems with Open Source software, Code patterns, and Developer Advocacy.
