Spot hackers before they can cover their tracks
IBM surveyed hundreds of companies, and discovered that the average data breach for an organisation costs nearly $4 million. Mega breaches can cost tens of millions, even hundreds of millions of dollars.
These companies lost cash, reputation, and customers. And worse, the average time it took to uncover a data breach was well over half a year - plus about another two months to contain it.
Attackers using the latest hacking tools can remotely exploit vulnerable machines to steal user passwords and valuable company files, whilst attempting to cover their tracks to avoid detection. Companies need a way of spotting a hack as it is happening to prevent widespread damage, not six months later when it is too late.
Our demo reveals the importance of real-time security monitoring. It uses both event logs and network flow information within IBM QRadar, our intelligent Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform.
When it comes to container security, QRadar is at the forefront of Threat Detection.
