Gary Barnett is Chief Technology Officer at AirSensa, who collect real-time air quality and environmental data on a hyper-local and continuous basis from meshes of their own sensor units installed across entire cities and larger urban areas. 

He is on a mission to generate the data needed to enable individuals, industry and government authorities to make informed choices. 

He has worked in the Internet of Things (IoT) domain for over a decade, and his 25-year career includes roles as industry analyst, consultant, and most importantly  as a developer - from mainframe and Cobol through client-server software and now IoT.
